Supervision for Associate Professional Counselors (APC)

I am a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in the state of Georgia. As a supervisor, I will be responsible for the clinical supervision of an Associate Professional Counselor while she/he works toward obtaining her/his licensure. Based on my experience and training in supervision, I believe I am competent to supervise counselor working with clients presenting with a wide variety of disorders: Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar and Related Disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum and other Psychotic Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, Trauma and Stress-related Disorders, Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders, Sexual Disorders, and Impulse control disorders.

As a supervisor, I follow the Integrated Developmental Model (IDM) of Stoltenberg combined with a Person-Centered Supervision approach, from Carl Rogers. I offer group supervision for Agencies, triadic supervision, and individual supervision, in-person and online. My sessions are 90 minutes for triadic and individual and 120 minutes for groups. Maximum group session cap is 6 members, according to the requirements for professional counselors.
